Prior to the summer of 2020, several students found themselves without a lab to support them through the summer. The department was not being responsive to students with regards to this matter. The PGC intervened and you can find minutes from an open meeting we had with the department leadership and the first of our (near daily) emails that followed requesting updates on the situation.
